Blood Vision Gift Box Packaging Design & Art Direction

The Challenge
It all started with “we need to a gift packaging for Blood Vision for Walmart gifting section”. We asked what are the contents of the box; the say “A QR”. We were like “ooooooo?”.
From there we created a concept for the gift box of Blood Vision. It’s full of layers which let’s you understand the uniqueness of this product and feel the love of the person who cared enough for you to gift you your very own health.

Blood Vision is a radical new way to understand your blood markers in the context of your lifestyle and longevity. With 100+ biomarkers to track, Ultrahuman’s Blood vision powerplug helps you uncover what’s working for your body—and what needs attention.
How do you turn something as clinical as a blood test into something people actually want to give as a gift?

We customized Graphic Medium for the logotype of Blood Vision to make it even softer and give it a unique look

We have an acrylic sheet featuring a scanner. Scan it, and the experience comes to life through AR—revealing where the different biomarkers being measured exist within your body.

Blue became the visual language for the idea of democratising health. For centuries, blue blood has been associated with aristocracy—the idea that access to certain things belonged to a privileged few. Blood Vision isn't about health being exclusive. It is about making better health accessible to everyone.
So we took the colour historically associated with the privileged and made it universal.
A blue for everyone.

We have sampled out a few variations of different material, different color, different texture. We have tried different print methods— embossing, debossing, silver foiling, transparent paper to get the final result.
